See the Two Forces Within You

Everyone carries two forces inside: one that chases desire and protects the self, and one that restrains impulse and chooses longer-term value. Neither is simply good or bad - they are the responses you most naturally reach for in different situations.

This test contains 35 questions and takes about 5-7 minutes. Results are presented as a 14-dimension spectrum.

FAQ

1. Will this test "condemn" me?

No. The seven deadly sins are a classical summary of human weaknesses in Western tradition. This test measures your behavioral tendencies completely neutrally - it makes no moral judgment and is not a clinical diagnosis. It simply helps you see your most natural coping patterns.

2. How do the sins and virtues pair up?

Traditionally each sin has a counterpart virtue: Pride-Humility, Envy-Kindness, Wrath-Patience, Sloth-Diligence, Greed-Generosity, Gluttony-Temperance, Lust-Chastity. Your results are presented as seven mirrored pairs, letting you see the ebb and flow between the two forces.

3. How long does the test take? How many questions?

There are 35 questions in total: 28 five-point rating questions and 7 either-or scenario questions. It usually takes 5-7 minutes. There is no time limit per question - answer with your first instinct.

4. Are my answers saved or uploaded?

No. All answering and scoring happen locally in your browser. We do not save, upload, or analyze your personal answers. You can answer with complete peace of mind.

5. How should I interpret my results?

Each dimension's score is a relative value from 0 to 100. Higher or lower does not mean better or worse - it only shows how strong that tendency is in you. Focus on the mirrored sin-virtue pairs: your highest sin and highest virtue often say the most about who you really are.

6. Why does the test use reverse scoring?

To reduce bias from answering habits, some questions are reverse-scored (for example, "it usually doesn't bother me" actually measures Envy). This is a standard psychometric technique that makes your results more accurate and closer to your true state.

"The question design is fascinating - many scenarios feel like they come straight from real life. My strongest trait turned out to be Patience, but my secondary one is Wrath. That contrast kept me reflecting for days."
