Seven Deadly Sins & Virtues Test - 14-Dimension Spectrum

See the Two Forces Within You
Everyone carries two forces inside: one that chases desire and protects the self, and one that restrains impulse and chooses longer-term value. Neither is simply good or bad - they are the responses you most naturally reach for in different situations.
This test contains 35 questions and takes about 5-7 minutes. Results are presented as a 14-dimension spectrum.
The test is free; results are for self-exploration only, with no moral judgment or clinical diagnosis.
What Do the Results Look Like?
After the 35 questions, the system instantly generates your personal results page: your overall sin and virtue tendencies, your strongest sin and strongest virtue, a mirrored personality radar chart, and detailed scores for all 14 dimensions. Here is a sample result:
Sample reading: Your sins and virtues are in relative balance - the two forces take turns within you, letting you respond flexibly in different situations.
Personality Spectrum · Mirrored Radar
Left half: seven sins. Right half: seven virtues. Each pair mirrors the other across the central axis.
Further from the center means a stronger tendency
The above is sample data - your own result will be calculated instantly from your answers.
What Kind of Reading Will I Get?
The results page gives you an overall reading based on your "Balance Index" (virtue average minus sin average). Your result will most likely fall into one of these three types:
"Your sin tendencies are relatively prominent - you rely more on desire, emotion and self-protection to drive you. That is a real and vital part of who you are."
Your strongest sin is usually your most instinctive way of coping. It does not mean "bad" - it is where your energy runs hottest, and where your habits deserve the most attention.
"Your virtue tendencies are clearly stronger than your sins - you more easily make longer-term, more restrained choices when facing impulse and temptation."
Your strongest virtue is the most stable resource in your character - it is what people feel most clearly when they are around you.
"Your sins and virtues are in relative balance - the two forces take turns within you, letting you respond flexibly in different situations."
That flexibility is a rare adaptability, though you may sometimes feel an inner tug-of-war - that is exactly the two forces negotiating.
Three Ways to Read Your Spectrum
- 1.Compare the two areas: the size of the left and right halves shows your overall sin-to-virtue ratio.
- 2.Find the outermost point: the dimension reaching farthest out is the trait most visible to both you and others.
- 3.Check the mirrored pairs: the bigger the gap in a mirrored pair (e.g. Sloth-Diligence, Gluttony-Temperance), the more one-sided that opposing force is in you.

FAQ
1. Will this test "condemn" me?
No. The seven deadly sins are a classical summary of human weaknesses in Western tradition. This test measures your behavioral tendencies completely neutrally - it makes no moral judgment and is not a clinical diagnosis. It simply helps you see your most natural coping patterns.
2. How do the sins and virtues pair up?
Traditionally each sin has a counterpart virtue: Pride-Humility, Envy-Kindness, Wrath-Patience, Sloth-Diligence, Greed-Generosity, Gluttony-Temperance, Lust-Chastity. Your results are presented as seven mirrored pairs, letting you see the ebb and flow between the two forces.
3. How long does the test take? How many questions?
There are 35 questions in total: 28 five-point rating questions and 7 either-or scenario questions. It usually takes 5-7 minutes. There is no time limit per question - answer with your first instinct.
4. Are my answers saved or uploaded?
No. All answering and scoring happen locally in your browser. We do not save, upload, or analyze your personal answers. You can answer with complete peace of mind.
5. How should I interpret my results?
Each dimension's score is a relative value from 0 to 100. Higher or lower does not mean better or worse - it only shows how strong that tendency is in you. Focus on the mirrored sin-virtue pairs: your highest sin and highest virtue often say the most about who you really are.
6. Why does the test use reverse scoring?
To reduce bias from answering habits, some questions are reverse-scored (for example, "it usually doesn't bother me" actually measures Envy). This is a standard psychometric technique that makes your results more accurate and closer to your true state.
